Louis Girifalco, Co-Founder
As a life long entrepreneur, Louis spent much of his freshman year running a home recording studio he opened in high school. To formally learn how to operate his business, he joined the Entrepreneurship Club and talked to others who shared this passion for discovering innovative solutions to common problems. In the Spring Semester of 2006, Louis entered Ropeit into the University of Delaware's Business Plan Competition, winning second place. Shortly after graduation in 2009, Louis shared the idea with Marc, and Ropeit became a reality.
Marc Reda, Co-Founder
A hopeful futurist looking towards a world full of cool gadgets, endless opportunity and a bounty of birdies on the links. When approached by Louis in 2009, upon graduating from University of Delaware, Marc was asked to try a unique device invented by Girafalco's father, John. After only a few swings Marc was impressed by Ropeit's performance and versatility. As an avid golfer and entrepreneur, Reda saw an opportunity to combine his two passions into a career.
Corey Allen, Graphic Design
Corey is a Junior at the University of Delaware -- originally from Southern New Jersey. He is studying Visual Communications, a major that helps students develop skills in design and advertising. Being a golf lover, Corey was very excited to join the Ropeit team to help develop and manage the evolution of our brand -- and to keep it consistent throughout all of our text and imagery.
Alison McIntyre, Customer Relations
In the Spring of 2013, Alison joined the Ropeit team as a project manager. Her fluency in French, strong interest in international affairs and passion for travel have led Alison to her current position as the International Business Coordinator. As a dual citizen and having travelled to nearly 20 destinations abroad, Alison's goal is to travel the world. She is determined to see Ropeit's current international markets continue to grow while simultaneously exploring new opportunities abroad.
